Holy Bible. It is a sacred book of the Christians. Every word in Holy Bible comes from Jesus. It is amazing to know that it was written about 1500 years before Jesus was born and it was finished about 100 years after He was born. It took more or less 1600 years to complete that sacred book. About 40 apostles wrote it as they were guided by God when they did it. Surprisingly, even though those people came from different place and time, their writing fit together. That’s why a Holy Bible could be completed. How great Jesus’ work is…!!!!
Do you want to know the other facts about the greatness work of Jesus on Holy Bible..???I would like to share two that I’ve read before.
1. About 100 years ago, before St. Gotthard tunnel was built, the journey from Italia to Swiss or vice versa should be made through St. Gotthard Canal. Once there was a group of Masons from Lugano ( Italia ) going to Swiss because salary was higher there. There was this guy named Antonio.He met an old woman who preached to him on their way to Swiss. He refused to believe in God. Then this woman gave him a Holy Bible which he didn’t intend to read. Afterwards, he arrived at Swiss. When he was working, he saw a hole in the wall that needed to be cement. He remembered the Bible he got and decided to hide it inside the wall and cement it.
On May 10th in 1861, there occurred a very aggressive fire burning in Swiss. Everything was burned down. A guy named Johannes, a building mentor, was checking on the building when he found something was buried in the wall. That’s when he realized it was a Holy Bible which was still in good condition.
2. John Huss, living in the 15th century, was a prophet. He preached in any chances he had. Unfortunately, he was killed because in that time people were antichrist. Everybody should not be found with a Holy Bible in their house. A woman who truly believed in God was afraid. She had no idea what to do with her Bible when the guards checked on her house. Suddenly she saw the bread she was baking. Without thinking she hid the Bible in the bread and baked it. The Bible was not found by the guards. When the bread was ready or was baked completely, the Bible was taken out. Surprisingly, the Bible was flawless. The woman kept the Bible as her only treasure of life. The last inheritor was a farmer named Schebold, a Bohemian living in Ohio. He and his family really appreciated the Bible.
